The new Coburg House gallery, which was recently used to film the C-Word advertisement by Crafts Scotland, will be open Monday-Friday from 12-6pm with late night opening on Thursday until 8pm, Saturday & Sunday 11am-6pm until Dec 23rd. Work from studio members will be available for sale.

This unique event offers an exciting opportunity to purchase beautifully handcrafted pieces. The incredible array of work on offer includes ceramics, jewellery, mosaics, painting, photography, silversmithing and textiles making a tantalising choice for buying that perfect Christmas gift.

The studios are home to a combination of award winning local and international professionals in both fine and applied arts. An amazing hub of creativity, Coburg House is the base for upwards of seventy artists producing outstanding original work.

Art Courses in 2010 at Coburg House

Coburg House Studios are pleased to present a series of innovative and creative art courses for Spring 2010 and beyond. These exciting workshops, hosted by some of Scotland’s leading practitioners, will leave you informed and inspired about each of the individual disciplines.

In a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, these weekend and evening courses have been designed with you in mind, small classes allowing you to develop at a pace that suits your particular needs and in close consultation with your workshop leader.

Studio Information

Since 1st November 2008, Coburg House Art Studios has been under lovely(!) new management. We supply various sized spaces for all types of artists in Edinburgh, and have a gorgeous new gallery space available to rent on a weekly/monthly basis. Over the years the artists have organised various open days and group exhibitions, with great success. We remain privately run and attract wide acclaim for the community feeling within the art studios.
